Community, Compassion, & Connection: Implementing an inclusive community model
This workshop will teach participants about a dynamic culturally responsive community inclusion model. This model engages subgroups across university, faith-based institutions, and community groups to address identified community needs. Social isolation is a pervasive problem for individuals with intellectual and developmental challenges that result in moderate to severe limitations with communication and cognition and their families.
